Be Yourself, No Matter What They Say

Quotes of the day No Comments »

How often do we care what other people think about what we do and what we say? The answer is too often. We try to measure our achievements against other people’s achievements, we compare ourselves to our neighbors, friends, siblings…

Today I would love to quote Dr. Seuss in my post:

“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”

By finding our own ways of doing things, we give ourselves the best present of all – being unique, and loving our own uniqueness. Being unique is good, being unique is awesome!

Have an awesome day!

Wisdom from Buddha

Quotes of the day No Comments »

Believe nothing! No matter where you read it or who said it … unless it agrees with your own reason and common sense.

- Buddha -

Sadly enough, way too often, we try to keep up with the Joneses and worry about what people think or say about us. But interestingly enough, you would be surprised to know that YOU think about what people think way more often than those people actually do…

This piece of wisdom from Buddha says it all. It doesn’t matter what people say or think. What matters is your own inner peace and your own thoughts and actions.

Don’t worry about people. Be yourself and enjoy every single day for yourself, not for somebody else.
